• Research Proposal (250 Words)
  • Your research proposal should provide an understanding of your research area(s) of interest to the reader. Consider addressing the following questions: what academic or social problem do you want to solve, and why is it important? Why is this discipline interesting and a good path to answer the question you shared?
• Personal Statement (250 Words)
  • Your personal statement MUST address the following: Why do you want to pursue a Ph.D. or other graduate program? What are your academic aspirations and career goals? How will the McNair Scholars Program help you achieve this goal(s)?
• Two Faculty Recommendations
  • Once you have identified your recommenders, please have them submit their recommendation by December 9, 2023.
